N-ice cheap deal to Rome!

Gelato

OK, so it got a bit frosty when a family of four had to pay £54 for ice-creams in Rome –  but don’t be put off going. You can get cheaper ice-cream and a two-night B&B break for less than three times that! Brit tourist Roger Bannister, his brother and their wives, have been in the news after paying 16 euros each for the ice-cream at the Antica Roma bar near Piazza di Spagna.

The family from Dudley in the West Midlands were heard complaining by a local councillor who has now sparked a row about tourist being ripped off. But, trust Your-Hols, you can get cheaper ice-cream, reasonable food and drink if you shop around and it is a fantastic city to visit.

easyJet Holidays has a tempting deal with two nights’ B&B at the four-star Roma Park Hotel, with flights from Gatwick on June 11, from just £157 per person. Plenty of money left for ice-cream!
