Parents go free on a PGL holiday in Devon – saving up to £898 on a family break for four. There’s one free adult place for every full paying child at PGL’s Barton Hall centre set in 46 acres near Torbay.
On-site facilities include a dry ski slope and outdoor heated swimming pool and there are up to 27 different activities including climbing, fencing, mountain biking, raft-building and zip-wiring. Sightseeing options include Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor’s National Park and the resorts of Torquay, Brixham or Teignmouth.
The parents go free deal is for seven-night holidays starting July 20 or 27, and August 17 or 24. Bookings should be made by July 26. Adults normally pay £425 each if sharing a family room with their kids, or £449 each in their own room, with children next door. All rooms at Barton Hall are simple, usually with bunk beds, but are en-suite.
PGL’s definition of a child is six to 18 years inclusive, with a brochure price of £349 per child in a family room, or £379 per child in a children’s room. This means a family of four, with Mum and Dad in their own room, and two children in a separate room will now pay a total of £758, saving £898.
As well as accommodation, all meals, five full days of activities, use of equipment, instruction and evening fun are all included in the price. The centre has a comfortable lounge, family bar and games room.
