Budding starlets will be put through their paces in the Caribbean next week – thanks to TV actress Pauline Quirke.
Her Academy of Performing Arts is being launched at half-term byVirgin Holidays at Savannah Beach Hotel, Barbados – and it’s free.
Children aged 4-16 staying at the hotel on the island’s beautiful south coast can join in the bespoke performing arts classes designed by the popular TV actress as well as attending the regular kids’ clubs.
Pauline, star of TV shows from thriller Broadchurch to comedy Birds of a Feather, said: “I’m excited about working with Virgin Holidays on the launch of the Academy. Both parties know more than anyone how important it is to offer fun activities for young people while they are on their holidays, and our fabulous workshops do exactly that.
“Families will go away with some brilliant holiday memories as the sessions not only build young peoples’ confidence, but they also bring out the performer in everyone while enjoying the sunshine! Who can say they’ve done that on any other holiday?”
The Pauline Quirke classes will run on the following dates: Feb 15-22, Mar 30-April 12, May 25-31, July 27-August 30, October 26-November 1, December 21-January 3 (apart from Christmas Day and New Year’s Day 2016).
Virgin Holidays offers seven nights all inclusive accommodation at the 3V+ Savannah Beach including flights from Gatwick on March 29 and in-resort airport transfers from £1,795 per person. Price based on two adults and two children sharing a plantation house room.
