Pick up some new circus skills in Devon at the Woodovis Park holiday camp.
The park is offering a number of workshops this summer with lessons from juggling to unicycle and stilt walking.
Offered twice a week throughout the school holidays, the circus skills classes are held in conjunction with local not-for-profit organisation, Uskate. The social enterprise was set up to teach extreme sports and circus skills to children and young adults across the south west.
The classes are in addition to the free weekly story-telling sessions with Clive PiG, with a hog roast (twice weekly right through the season) and a visiting fish and chip van one night per week in high season.
Other onsite facilities include an indoor heated pool with water walking in the pool on Sunday mornings; archery with a trained instructor on Thursday evenings; a children’s play area, outdoor table tennis, a games room and a Petanque court.
The Circus Skills sessions will run on Tuesdays from 6-8pm for £2 and Fridays for three hours from 10am-1pm for £3. A week in a luxury holiday home (sleeping up to six) costs from £705 in August. Get £180 off a 14-night holiday with a start date between July 17 and August 22.
