It looks as if Universal Orlando has got another winner – Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure which opens on June 13.
Actor Robbie Coltrane who plays giant Rubeus Hagrid in the Potter movies, helped reveal new details this week about the park’s “most highly-themed, immersive coaster yet”.
Robbie said: “I think it’s a wonderful idea and the design is incredible. It’s a staggeringly original idea to make a ride which is basically a motorcycle with a sidecar.”

Superb: You’ll ride through a forest with 1,200 trees at Universal Orlando
It looks incredible with the ride including an actual forest with 1,200 trees!! Hopping on a motorbike or sidecar, you will join Hagrid on a journey to one of the most mysterious places in the wizarding world – the Forbidden Forest.
With Hagrid as your guide, you will fly deep into the forest and brave the mysteries and thrills beyond the grounds of Hogwarts castle and encounter the wizarding world’s rarest creatures.
During the adventure, you will:
Experience a freewheeling coaster flight where they’ll twist, turn and rush forward – and backward – at speeds up to 50 mph into the dark forest.
Encounter some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures, such as a majestic Centaur, a swarm of mischievous Cornish Pixies, Fluffy, the three-headed dog – and even a creature that’s never been seen in the films.
Hurl past challenging obstacles, become entangled in a thicket of Devil’s Snare and so much more …while encountering a few surprises along the way.
