Value hotel chain Premier Inn has opened a new hotel at Gatwick airport today, and managed to bag the opening of their 50,000th hotel room at the same time.
The new 630 bedroom hotel cost some £60 million and is one of nine hotels to be opened in Greater London by the end of 2013.
The hotel is located on the approach to the North Terminal and each bedroom caters for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under) and includes an en-suite bathroom; a king size bed; remote control TV with Freeview; tea/coffee making facilities, and a desk area with 30 minutes free WiFi Internet access. The hotel also offers the All You Can Eat ‘Premier Breakfast’.
