Thank goodness for Zippos – a fantastic treat for all the family! This year’s Big Top treat, Carnaval, from the circus is one of the best ever – a combination of traditional acts and thrilling daredevil stunts. Watching four motorbike riders whizz round the inside of a globe will have you gasping in astonishment – they really are that good and the ticket price is worth every penny just to see this amazing Brazilian team.
Then there’s the super strongman from the Ukraine who pulls a transit van with his teeth (above)!! Nicky de Neumann swings herself around three horses at once and Cuban acrobats, the Havana Troupe, fly through the air. But a circus wouldn’t be a circus without veteran ringmaster Sir Norman Barrett (and his delightful budgie act) and the hilarious Delbosq Clowns (below).
