Get in quick if you want a night of luxury high in the skies at the new Shard hotel. Reservations for the Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London open next Monday, March 17.
The hotel – on the 34th to 52nd floors – opens on May 6 with rooms from £450 a night and you can also book for events and Ting – the signature restaurant and lounge on Level 35.

The Shard hotel will feature three food and beverage destinations: Gŏng, London’s highest champagne and cocktail bar on Level 52; Tīng, serving produce with a hint of Asian flavours in the restaurant and two afternoon teas in the lounge; and Láng, the patisserie and artisan deli on the Ground Floor, which will showcase a selection of Shangri-La signature cakes and savouries.
Level 52 at the Shard hotel will also be home to a 24-hour gym and London’s highest infinity pool and, together with Gŏng, will open in July.
Three river-facing event spaces on Level 34 at the Shard hotel will offer a London venue experience. Spectacular views from 125 metres above the city will complement the state-of-the-art conferencing technology and tailor-made catering services. The largest of the venues, Ren, will accommodate up to 140 guests; the other two, Yi and Li, up to 10 and 35 guests, respectively. The entire Level 34 can also be used for a standing reception of up to 200 guests.
