The capital’s new family attraction Shrek’s Adventure! London opens next week.
The Merlin experience on Southbank combines live action and iconic sets from the Shrek films. The attraction opens for visitors on Wednesday July 1. But YourHols will be getting a sneak preview on Sunday so we’ll tell you exactly what to expect.
But what we know so far is that you’ll be taken on a 4D bus ride to famous Far Far Away locations including Shrek’s Swampy home complete with Ogre-sized toilet, The Poison Apple Pub and The Muffin Man’s House.
Along the way you’ll meet some of its most famous residents brought to life through a mix of actors and DreamWorks animation – including Princess Fiona, Gingy the Gingerbread Man, Pinocchio and Puss in Boots.
Those in the know told us: “Guests are invited to play their part in the adventure helping to ‘save the day’ as the story unfolds with unexpected twists and turns – from magical crystal balls and bubbling cauldrons to powerful spells and more laughs than you can shake a Magic Mirror at!
“After the adventure, there’s more fun to be had in the Arrivals Hall with a colourful line-up of other DreamWorks pals in themed sets from the worlds of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon.”
Tickets for timed entry can be booked at Shrek’s Adventure! from £23.40 for adults and £18.72 for children.
