Thomas Cook must be backing Greece – it has added another Greek destination, the island of Thassos, to its 2016 holiday programme.

You’ll have the choice of three hotels and two flights a week will depart every Friday from Gatwick and Manchester.

The hotels are exclusive to Thomas Cook, including the new four-star plus SENTIDO Thassos Imperial Hotel & Resort on the beach and the Four Seasons Hotel in lush green pine forests and top rated on TripAdvisor.

Seven nights half-board at the four-star Four Seasons based on two adults sharing a double room, from Gatwick or Manchester on May 6 from £419 per person.

Thassos is among the new routes – including Los Angeles and Boston – in Thomas Cook’s 2016 summer holidays featured in eight short and mid haul brochures and five e-brochures for all-inclusive, families and adults.

There are savings of up to £300 per booking, ‘kids from £1″ deals on more than 100,000 holidays.

Thassos – known as the Emerald Island – is surrounded by the Aegean Sea, near the northern coast of Greece, and is blessed with some of the best family-friendly beaches the Greek islands have to offer.

Thomas Cook commercial director Chris Mottershead says: “We’re really excited to launch our holidays for next summer which offers families, couples and adults a fantastic choice of destinations both near and far.”
