Go back in time and enjoy a traditional variety concert on the Belmond Northern Belle as the train explores the British countryside. YourHols can tell you that this trip is great fun and the food on board is delicious – a real treat if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary.
A series of Variety Dinners, celebrating British entertainment, are being held this autumn. The line-up includes cabaret dancers, contortionists, comedians, magicians and musicians. The new theatrical journeys depart from Manchester on September 4 and November 7 and from Birmingham on October 30.
Variety performers will make their way through the 1930s inspired carriages, recreating the atmosphere of the famed music halls of the era as the train travels through the countryside. The evening includes a five-course champagne dinner created by Northern Belle’s head chef.
Belmond Northern Belle, with its 1930s carriages, is the UK’s most luxurious touring day train, departing from over 50 regional stations.
The Variety Dinner costs from £250 per person including meals, champagne and half a bottle of wine per person. See Belmond
