What do Hollywood A-listers George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Christian Bale have in common? They all love the Mexican hotspot of Los Cabos. And soon you can go celeb spotting because TUI has just announced that it is flying there from Gatwick next winter.
TUI, which already flies to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, will offer the only direct flights from the UK to the destination on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, offering two flights a week from Gatwick from November 2019. Flights on sale next Thursday, November 8.
You will be able to book exclusive holiday packages of seven, 10, 11 and 14 nights to the destination’s two main resort areas – Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. The area offers a buzzing marina, plenty of activities and lively nightlife.
Where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, there is something for everyone – fishing, golf, scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, horseback riding, relaxing in luxury spas and resorts and dancing ’til dawn.
Holidaymakers will be spoilt for choice with a range of new hotels including the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, RIU Santa Fe and RIU Baja California.

TUI also announced it will be launching summer 2020 holidays from early November – the earliest the tour operator has sold a summer programme. This is to allow customers to secure their favourite hotels or preferred flight options earlier than ever before. TUI customers will be offered thousands of free kids places and low deposits in TUI’s hotel concepts including TUI Sensatori, TUI Family Life, First Choice Splashworld, First Choice Holiday Village and Suneo Club.
