TUI to fly even more holidaymakers to the Canaries and Egypt

TUI is expanding again. The travel giant is adding thousands more seats to long and short-hail destinations with the Canaries and Egypt being the main winners. And that’s great news for Sharm el Sheikh after the lifting of the flight ban to the sunshine destination.

Following the news that the first TUI flights back to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh will depart in February 2020, it confirmed that this will extend into winter 2020 and beyond.

The exclusive 5T TUI Magic Life Sharm El Sheikh is picture-perfect, overlooking the Straits of Tiran. There is something for everyone from a stylish spa, fitness gym, sporting activities and professional live entertainment. The all-inclusive beach resort has three swimming pools and four restaurants.

The exclusive 5T Reef Oasis Blue Bay includes a beautiful private beach, a waterpark and a large oudoor infinity pool perfect for cooling down in the sun and observing the stunning views. The hotel has a fantastic location, not far from the famous Naama Bay.

The flights will be among the extra 400,000 seats to short and mid-haul destinations, with the majority also focussed in the Canaries and the African islands of Cape Verde.

New: TUI is selling more holidays to the 5T RIU Palace Santa Maria on Sal

The new 5T RIU Palace Santa Maria on the island of Sal in Cape Verde is part of the TUI Platinum collection and is available to book for winter 2020. It includes four restaurants serving divine cuisine, three swimming pools and a splash park for kids.

TUI will also offer an additional 180,000 seats from Manchester, Gatwick and Doncaster Sheffield to popular long-haul destinations including Goa, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Barbados.

Launching its winter 2020 programme today, the operator said the new flights reflect the higher demand for both family and adult long-haul breaks, including during the Christmas and February half-terms.

Greece, Turkey, the Canaries and Balearics will also see more British holidaymakers from summer 2021. Hundreds of hotels will be available to choose from, including the Thomas Cook favourites added recently.

From May 2020 TUI BLUE will become TUI’s flagship hotel brand with TUI Family Life and TUI Sensimar hotels rebranded and moved into the TUI BLUE range.
