Virgin Holidays launches breaks to two more Caribbean islands

Good news for Caribbean tourism – Virgin Holidays is selling breaks to two more islands. Anguilla and St Kitts & Nevis have been added to Virgin’s portfolio, bringing the total number of Caribbean destinations to 14.

The company has also launched a collection of Virgin Holidays Experiences including a Cuban rum and cigar tour and an adrenaline-fuelled rainforest sky-ride.

The unspoiled nation of St Kitts & Nevis is a blissfully laid-back late bloomer when it comes to tourism and is offering seven properties for Virgin customers. Meanwhile, Anguilla – with its startlingly beautiful bays, turquoise waters and sugar-soft beaches – is ready to welcome Virgin customers to three new properties.

St Kitts & Nevis has a guide price of £1,149 per person for a seven-night holiday including flights, transfers and a mountain room view at Timothy Beach Resort.

If you could splash out for a little more luxury, there is a guide price of £3,249 per person for a seven-night holiday including flights, transfers and a park king room at Park Hyatt St Kitts.

If you don’t mind self-catering, you could stay at the beach view suite at Carimar Beach Club in Anguilla with a guide-price of £1,579 per person for seven nights including flights, hotels and transfers.

Virgin Holidays expects thousands of customers to stay at the two new destinations within the next year and is sending holidaymakers to St Kitts & Nevis via Virgin Atlantic services to Barbados and to Anguilla via services to Antigua.

Nicki Goldsmith, Head of Caribbean and Worldwide product at Virgin Holidays, said:  “Over the last three decades we’ve taken millions of British holidaymakers to explore the Caribbean.

“We know travellers love the scenic beauty of St Lucia, the hospitality in Barbados and the beaches of Antigua – but we have seen more and more demand for exciting adventures and far-flung destinations. We believe St Kitts & Nevis and Anguilla are going to be a real hit and we’re looking forward to sending more UK holidaymakers to explore this beautiful corner of the world than ever before.”
