Virgin Holidays launches online TV show

Virgin Holidays is launching an online TV show featuring four stage and TV favourites – and you’ll get to decide what they get up to on holiday.

Give Me A Break, will include award-winning comic Shappi Khorsandi, Snog, Marry, Avoid? presenter Ellie Taylor, stand-up Justin Moorhouse and journalist and author Danny Wallace.

The programme, which will air exclusively online during September and October with a weekly espisode featuring one of the stars. Each participant will follow an itinerary decided entirely by an audience watching at home, in real time, via the Virgin Holidays Facebook and Twitter feeds, and a dedicated website www.GMAB.co.uk. The trip will then feature as a 20 minute show at the end of the week.

Everyone who contributes to the holidays by suggesting activities will get the chance to go on their own Virgin Holiday by winning a trip to the same destination.

Shappi, who is first up for a trip to South Africa, said: “I’m so excited about my involvement in ‘Give Me a Break’. I love seeing new places and doing new things on holiday – which as a first time visitor to South Africa certainly won’t be a problem. And waking up each morning not knowing what I am going to do will be really liberating.”
