Warner sleep in a beach hut?

HS Corton - Beach Hut patio

These gorgeous beach hut-style lodges are as close as you’ll get to sleeping by the shore in comfort. Warner Leisure Hotels has splashed out £4 million on new “Best of British” accommodation – the 18 seaside lodges and 20 eco-friendly lakeside suites – at two of their fantastic coastal villages in Suffolk.

MD Richard Bates said: “Waking up to a brilliant view of the sea with the sun shining is everyone’s holiday dream. We think our guests will love the idea of sleeping as close to the ocean as possible.”

The Clifftop Lodge Rooms – brightly-painted just like traditional beach huts with sensational sea views – open at Corton Coastal Village, near Lowestoft in Suffolk, just in time for Easter.

The lodges with a living room, bedroom and luxury bathroom, have a fun nautical and seaside theme throughout. Porthole windows, deckchair-style linen, ice-lolly cushions and paintings of sandcastles on the walls. There’s a private patio, too, complete with deckchairs.

Mr Bates added: “Each lodge has been custom-designed and built in the UK so we really are providing the Best of British breaks.”

Three nights in a clifftop lodge, sleeping two, costs from £265 per person.

Warner Leisure Hotels, renowned for its commitment to improving the environment, is also this month launching eco-friendly, luxury Garden Lodge Suites at nearby Gunton Hall Coastal Village. Built using recycled materials, the single-storey suites have a variety of energy-saving features.

The reclaimed wood-clad suites ooze tranquility, set in woodland and close to a lake and offer every modern amenity. There are TVs in both the bedroom and lounge, fabulous furnishings, a mini-bar and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Three nights in a suite, sleeping two, costs from £325 per person.

Both coastal villages offer a range of chalet accommodation, leisure facilities and entertainment tailored for adults.

Mr. Bates said: “We know many guests consider Warner a second home and so we hope the investment in these two coastal villages will compliment the surroundings they already love and enjoy.”
