Clearwater Beach on the west coast of Florida has won the accolade for the second year running. Visit St. Pete/Clearwater is also celebrating St Pete Beach becoming No4 best beach in the US in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards.

Clearwater Beach, which beat the likes of Miami and Hawaii to scoop the top spot, has also jumped up the world beach rankings to secure No.6 beach in the World out of 25 top contenders.
TripAdvisor users cited the trademark pristine white sand, clear shallow waters, array of water sports, winding Beach Walk promenade and passing dolphins, as the top reasons Clearwater Beach deserved its high rankings.

St. Pete Beach also rose an impressive three places this year to win No.4 beach in the US. Reviewers praised the wide expanse of soft sand, spectacular sunsets, laid-back vibe and friendly locals, as proof that St. Pete Beach had earnt its place amongst the top 25 beaches in America.
Winning beaches are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings listed on TripAdvisor over the past 12 months.
