Well, Coronation Street’s Todd Grimshaw is clearly not sitting beside his attacked brother Jason’s bedside.
Actor Bruno Langley, who plays devious Todd, took to the waves with his co-stars Katie McGlynn (Sinead Tinker), Sair Khan (Alya Nazir) and Mikey North (Gary Windass).
They crossed the Irish Sea on Irish Ferries’ Ulysses, signing autographs and chatting to 200 fans en-route to the Coronation Street set for a guided tour.
Ferry chef Ronnie Crosbie served up fresh-baked scones and cream at coffee-time.
Irish Ferries has already carried almost 3,000 Corrie fans across the sea on ‘soap’ tours organised by Irish holiday company Celtic Horizon Tours.
The original Coronation Street set closes to visitors at the end of October.
