Places are selling out on a special photography tour of India by high-end travel company Kuoni.

The Colours and Contrasts: Photographing India tour is led by award-winning photographer Neil-Buchan Grant and will capture some of the country’s architecture, people, local life and rural landscapes.

The tour is aimed at anyone who is passionate about photography and travel, and caters for all ability levels, whether using a smart phone or a top-of-the-range digital camera.

 Visiting Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi the highlights of the tour include:

* A photography acclimatisation workshop to get guests started,

* Celebration of the Diwali Festival in Jaipur and dinner with a local family in the evening,

* Photograph of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River,

* High tea at the city palace in Jaipur,

* Aarti ceremony and morning Ganges boat ride in Varanasi,

* Photography excursion at the Sikh Temple in Delhi,

* Night photography tour of Delhi.

In addition, obtaining a visa for India has now been simplified as of August 15, making the booking process quicker and easier by applying online for an E-Visa, a minimum of four days in advance of travel.

Prices for the 12-night tour departing on November 6 are from £2,993 per person including flights, 4-star hotels and an English speaking guide.
