Take a trip to Portsmouth On November 1 and walk the decks of HMS Victory, the world’s oldest commissioned warship. Sense the men who sailed and died with Nelson or follow a Halloween pumpkin family trail past ancient naval ships on display at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Families can join Animal Encounters onboard HMS Victory and meet some of the unwelcome stowaways that joined ships like this on their far flung travels. From tarantulas and cockroaches to snakes and scorpions, kids will have a unique opportunity to see and handle some creepy crawlies. This event is free with a valid ticket, which costs from £23.50 for adults and £17.80 for children.
