Maryland to Host ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships
Between September 17 and 21, theInternational Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Championships will visit McHenry, Maryland. Over 600 Olympic level athletes from 35 countries will compete at the impressive Adventure Sports Center International, the world’s only mountaintop white water course. The event has only visited the US once previously.
The World Road Cycling Championships to Speed through Virginia
More than 1500 of the world’s top cyclists, from 75 different countries, will visit Richmond, Virginia, to compete in a variety of circuits and races for both individuals and teams as part of the World Road Cycling Championships 2015 (September 19-27, 2015). Considered a pinnacle-cycling event, this nine-day affair will also offer spectators numerous festivals, concerts and other attractions.
