Scotland’s about to get more connections to the rest of the world as Air France and KLM increase their services.

The two sister airlines are to increase their flight frequencies for the summer season.

KLM is increasing its daily flights from five to six from Edinburgh to Amsterdam and from four to five from Glasgow. Air France has increased the frequency between Edinburgh and Paris with one additional flight reaching a total of four daily operated flights.

Passengers travelling on any of the 28 daily flights can connect with the rest of the world via the hub airports of Amsterdam Schiphol or Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Amsterdam  Schiphol was voted ‘Best Airport in Europe’ at the Business Traveller Awards in 2012 for the 13th consecutive year and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is beginning a refurbishment of its terminals.
