Thorpe Park’s new Angry Birds Land launched this week with a host of celebs including Jonathan Ross, Stacey Solomon and Sara Cox.
The park-within-a-park features a 4D Angry Birds Experience in a movie-style theatre, seven life-sized Angry Birds sculptures, the Detonator: Bombs Away drop tower where people dive 100ft and reach 50mph and King Pig’s Wild Hog Dodgems, which were enjoyed by Ross and Co.

The Angry Birds 4D Experience sees attraction goers join in the action in the high-tech movie theatre with rumbling chairs as the Angry Birds attempt to get their precious eggs back from King Pig. Timed air gusts, water jets, leg ticklers, flashing lights, bubbles and smoke blasts add to the action.
There’s also the chance to have an Angry Birds sleepover with the new-for-2014 Thorpe Shark Hotel just moments away.
Elsewhere at Thorpe Park, there are 30 rides including the UK’s first winged rollercoaster The Swarm, Stealth, Colossus, Saw – The Ride, and Nemesis Inferno, a feet-free, legs-dangling coaster experience.
