Brighton’s Grand Hotel, which has recently undergone a £5m makeover, has launched a summer ‘butler on the beach’ service.
The bespoke offering has the butler setting up deckchairs, parasol, icebox, iPod dock and a refreshing jug of Pimms, before serving up a picnic basket with a choice of a “posh” lobster fish and chips, a loaded seafood platter or traditional afternoon tea; complemented perfectly with a bottle of champagne.
The Butler will also offer a selection of cold or warm towels, drinks and will even bring guests suncream or a hot water bottle if the weather turns.
The Butler on the Beach service is available between 11am and 6pm for guests staying at The Grand Brighton until August 31 and costs £200 per couple. Double rooms at the hotel start from £115.
