Club Med spreads its wings to Southern China

Family friendly holiday company Club Med is spreading further afield with the launch of a second resort in China.

The all-inclusive specialist’s 4* Guilin Resort will join Club Med’s first Chinese resort, Yabuli, which opened in 2010.

Guilin which opens later this summer offers a variety of sports and activities for all ages. There is the opportunity to learn indoor and outdoor flying trapeze, yoga, tai chi, golf and cookery (including local Chinese dishes).

Guests have a choice of three swimming pools including an indoor and adult-only tranquillity pool. The resort also boasts a complete range of Children’s Clubs, for kids from two to 17 years old, with dedicated activities.

Guilin boosts a local Chinese cuisine restaurant, offering al a carte options. Atelier restaurant offers a daily international buffet and the noodle bar located in the courtyard offers different kinds of noodles from all regions of China.  Guests also have three bars to choose from, all serving alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

The resort is in Southern China, near Guilin in the Guangxi region and flights will be via Hong Kong and Canton.
