Get a holiday ... to North Korea

Fed up of France? Greece gone to the dogs? Tenerife got on your ticks? How about a holiday to North Korea?

The land of Kim Jong-Un, one of President Bush’s ‘Axis of Evil’ is further opening up to the world with a new tour from On The Go.

The company is offering holidaymakers a rare opportunity to be among the few thousand foreign visitors allowed into the isolated country.

With a tumultuous history and shrouded in mystery, North Korea has remained relatively untouched by tourism and offers the inquisitive traveller spectacular mountain scenery, halls of treasure, ancient temples and much more.

The nine-day Inside North Korea tour takes travellers from the incredible sights of Beijing in China, to the Soviet-style capital of Pyongyang in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. There they get the chance to explore museums, visit important historical monuments, ancient temples and take day trips to Mt Myohyang and the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea.

Trips cost from £1,899 per person, with accommodation in four star hotels and some meals. Flights from Beijing to Pyongyang are included but not international flights.
