Hair colour affects your choice of holiday!

Don’t spend ages deciding where you want to spend your dream getaway. Just look in the mirror: a new survey reveals that your hair colour affects your choice of holiday.

The survey of 2,000 people by hotels.com showed blondes – such as Towie’s Billie and Sam Faiers, above right – are most likely to pick a relaxing beach holiday with more of them (42 per cent) choosing a sunbathing holiday, more than any other hair colour.

Redheads and gingers – like Meryl Streep in the film Out of Africa, above – topped the hair colour most likely to want to head off on safari, with six per cent of them choosing an animal adventure. Bald people, meanwhile, seemed to prefer a backpacking trip – more of them (six per cent ) chose the cheap adventure hols, more than any of the hair colours.

People with black hair preferred a skiing holiday (13%) more than other hair colours, while thrill-seeking brunettes – such as Glee’s Lea Michele, above – were most likely to go for something more wild like hiking, kayaking or rock climbing (11%).

 

There’s no surprises when it comes to those later in life, more grey-haired people  would choose a quiet countryside retreat (36%).

While you would expect a countryside retreat may be preferred by those with grey hair it is fantastic to see our ginger population enjoying the excitement of a safari over other holidays, we just hope they pack plenty of sun cream.”
