Derby Festé , the UK’s biggest and best urban outdoor festival, returns to the streets and stages of Derby on September 27 and 28.
The newly reopened River Gardens will provide the backdrop as jugglers and fire performers help to get the party started, and lead the way to one of the highlights of the weekend – a performance of As the World Tipped (above) by the internationally acclaimed Wired Aerial Theatre, who opened the 2012 Sydney Festival.
Tickets cost £5 but all other events are free – including an evening of live bands in the Cathedral Quarter’s Market Place from 8.45pm to midnight.
