Virgin Holidays has a New York late deal from £625 per person. You’ll stay three nights B&B at the 3V Comfort Inn Manhattan, flying from Heathrow on March 4. Price based on two adults travelling, sharing a double room.
The hotel may be a three-star but it gets the thumbs-up from TripAdvisor reviewers. One said: “Just got back from five nights at the Comfort on 34st. The first thing about this hotel is the location, it is perfect, one minute to Empire State, three minutes to Macy’s and Madison Square Gardens and five minutes to Times Square. There are subways all around you and you are on the corner of 5th Avenue with two nice bars opposite.
“But the location fades compared to the helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. They can literally not do enough for you and are permanently happy and smiling. We had two slight issues whilst there with our safe and door lock and both were handled fantastically. I have no hesitation in saying they were the best I have ever come across.”
