The One Lounge breakfast area décor has been inspired by the worker bee, a symbol that was associated with Manchester during Britain’s industrial revolution. Metal works and art of worker bees adorn the walls and honeycomb patterns clothe the Sancal ‘Tea’ chairs.

The Manchester City Arms feature on the walls of the hotel reflects the hotel staying true to its city centre location.

In the bar, the decor takes on the Britpop culture which the city is famous for, the walls are lined with metal-coated LPs while the ceiling is embellished with a mirror ball and lamps from top designer Tom Dixon. Leather lounge chairs and sofas complete the area.

Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly is perfectly places for business men and women. But it’s great for tourists too, close to all local attractions including the Arndale Centre, Opera House and National Football Museum.

Motel One’s ethos is ‘great design for little money’ and there are now 50 hotels across Europe.
