There’s a Scandinavian city break sale starting at airline SAS today.
The sale has a number of savings to Scandinavia, with tickets starting from just £63 one way and flights from Heathrow, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Humberside.
Bookings must be made by August 27 for travel between September 13, 2013 and March 31, 2014.

Spend Halloween in Tivoli Gardens , Copenhagen
Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens will open its gates for the Halloween season between October 10 and 27 and the Gardens will be decorated with pumpkins, scarecrows, while the park’s witches and heroes, Harlequin, Pierrot and Columbine, will be on the Halloween Square by the Open Air Stage before marching through Tivoli with the Pumpkin Band. After 6pm, Tivoli will turn into a scary zone for everyone of 12 or more. The city (above) is beautiful in Autumn.

Embark on a Lobster or Oyster Safari along the West Coast of Sweden
The lobster season starts along the Bohuslän coast on Monday September 23 . Lobster Safaris involve travelling out to sea, helping haul up lobster pots to preparing supper and then sitting down to savour it. Alternatively head to the little fishing town of Grebbestad for similar experiences with oysters.

Oslo’s fall foliage is one of the best in cities around the world. Some of the best spots include the Akershus Fortress, The Palace Park and Vigeland Sculpture Park.
