Air traffic controllers might have something to say about this – Dr Who’s Tardis has landed on their runway at Heathrow. BBC Worldwide has teamed up with the airport to celebrate the longest running TV sci-fi series in the world.

From today, passengers travelling through Heathrow will be treated to a variety of exciting Doctor Who themed experiences including: appearances from the famous Cybermen, Tardis photobooths, genuine props and memorabilia, and reality experiences from Britain’s best loved drama series.

People in Terminal 5 will also today enjoy special performances by the London Philharmonic Orchestra of music from the iconic BBC Wales produced series and Doctor Who novelist Jenny Colgan will also be signing copies of her latest book, Doctor Who: Dark Horizons.
