Taste Thailand at home, then go!

Thai fete

There’s a chance this weekend and next to enjoy the tastes, sounds and culture of Thailand at home. The historic riverside town of Kingston upon Thames, in south west London, is hosting a Thai Fete in the marketplace on May 10 & 11 and 17 & 18. The free event between 11am and 6pm offers you the chance to taste a range of Thai foods, beers and wines and to experience traditional Thai massages, dances and music. There will also be arts and crafts demonstrations and kids’ funfair attractions.

“We are delighted to welcome this colourful event to our ancient marketplace!” said Ros Morgan, CEO of Kingstonfirst. “The Thai fete, organised by the Thai newspaper Amanthai, will be attended by the Thai Ambassador, H.E Mr Pasan Teparak. It is a fabulous opportunity for local residents and visitors to London to experience a taste of this fascinating country.”
