A new tour set for 2015 could prove to be one of the most expensive and exclusive holidays ever.

Costing the best part of a cool £35k, the three-week tour will circumnavigate the globe in a private jet, making stops in London, Mexico, Brazil, Easter Island, Tahiti, Australia, Cambodia, India and Tanzania.

Created by Captain’s Choice, the tour will take place a specially customised Boeing 767 that seats just 92 people in leather VIP seats.  En route, they’ll get to sample gourmet meals, champagne and fine wines and then fly through immigration and customs arrangements.

The tour starts at the Harrods private jet terminal at Luton on March 5  and the first port of call will be is Chichen Itza (above) in Mexico, followed by Rio de Janeiro (staying at the Copacabana Palace Hotel) before visiting Iguassu Falls and heading for Easter Island with its mystical Moai statues.

The pace slows with a two night stay at Moorea in Tahiti before crossing the International Date Line en route to Sydney, Australia for a three-night stay. From here the tour heads to Cambodia for a visit to the remarkable ruins at Angkor Wat, followed by the Taj Mahal in Agra.

The final stop on the tour, prior to completing the circumnavigation in London, is Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the starting point for a safari into the Serengeti and the opportunity for big game spotting.

The Circumnavigation of the Globe private jet tour will cost £34,850 for two sharing, all inclusive.
