Virgin Holidays is launching a nationwide competition – with six Caribbean breaks up for grabs.
For five weeks from August 15, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in #PackMoreMojo. The competition will be held in locations throughout the UK, with a different Caribbean holiday up for grabs each week. A sixth holiday is also available for the winner of a social competition, running concurrently through the Virgin Holidays social media channels.
Here’s how #PackMoreMojo will work. Three contestants at a time will have up to one minute to fill a suitcase with various holiday items to get as close to the set 23kg weight limit as possible.
But there’s a twist… the weighing scales are covered and the final weight is only revealed once the buzzer goes and the one minute is up. The contestant whose suitcase weighs as close to the magic 23kg as possible will be added to a Top 10 leader board. As many people can take part as turn up. Whoever is at the top of the leaderboard once the competition closes each Sunday evening, will win a holiday to the Caribbean.
#PackMoreMojo will be heading to the following locations from mid-August:
- Westfield Shepherds Bush, London – August 15 & 16
- Bluewater, Kent – August 22 & 23
- Meadowhall, Sheffield – August 29 & 30
- Trafford Centre, Manchester – September 5 & 6
- Bullring, Birmingham – September 12 & 13
People whose efforts don’t make the leaderboard can also enter themselves in to a social media competition by visiting the ‘indoor beach’ on the #PackMoreMojo stand, where they can dress up in beach themed clothes and accessories and have their photograph taken. To enter into the prize draw they then just need to upload their beach themed picture with #PackMoreMojo to Instagram, Twitter or the Virgin Holidays Facebook page.
Those that can’t make it to the above dates can also upload an image of themselves packing more into their holiday with the #PackMoreMojo and mention @VirginHolidays. The social competition closes on September 13 and the winner will be picked at random.
