Do you share your name with a theme park? Drayton Manor has launched a nationwide search for boys called Thomas Land to attend the VIP launch of its new ride on Friday July 19.
The boys and their families (two adults and another child) will get free entry to the Staffordshire park and be among the first to experience Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour in Thomas Land. The launch marks the fifth anniversary of Europe’s only Thomas Land with Winston joining the other 20 rides and attractions based on the popular Thomas & Friends characters.
The ride takes you on a guided monorail tour around a themed track, letting you see the whole of the attraction from above with an open-top experience in good weather. The successful boys called Thomas Land will meet all of the other Thomas & Friends characters including the Fat Controller. It promises to be a day full of fun, laughs, thrills and spills as you experience the magic of Sodor.
MD Colin Bryan said: “We are really excited about the new addition to Thomas Land and the fifth anniversary, and to be able to share the experience with someone named Thomas Land would make the occasion all the more special. We would really love to have someone to represent the launch.”
