If you have got, or ever had, young children, you will know that losing a teddy is a very serious business. It can simply wreck a holiday, no kidding. Center Parcs has come up with a super new Teddy Tagging service after 700 bears were lost at their parks last year.

You’ll be pleased to know that 320 of the cuddly toys were reunited with their distraught owners but more can be done. So teddy tags are being trialled (it is that serious!!) at their resorts in Sherwood Forest (Notts), Elveden Forest (Suffolk), Longleat Forest (Wiltshire) and Whinfell Forest, (Cumbria). They can be tied to the teddies when guests check in to their lodges and if they go missing, its bearly a problem because the lodge number will be on the tag.

Center Parcs Lost Property Manager, Janice Abram said: “Center Parcs remains so popular with families because we go the extra mile to make sure they have a great time. Teddy Tagging should ensure we can reunite even more teddy bears with their owners, and give families the confidence to bring even the most treasured toys on holiday.”

Prices for a weekend break (Friday to Monday) at Elveden Forest Center Parcs, for four people staying in a two-bedroom new style woodland lodge, start from £399.
