He’s been in trouble on Coronation Street recently and his gran is still giving him the cold shoulder.
So there’s no wonder David Platt, aka actor Jack P Shepherd, escaped to the Caribbean.
Jack, 31, stayed at the five-star Casa De Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic, to celebrate his girlfriend Hanni Treweek’s 30th birthday.
The resort is no stranger to famous guests with Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Bill Clinton, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Beyonce all having stayed there.
Jack had access to the resort’s 370-slip Marina & Yacht Club, Polo & Equestrian Club, private beach and 13 tennis courts. Casa De Campo is also home to three championship golf courses designed by Pete Dye, including Teeth of the Dog.
He also visited Altos de Chavón – modelled on a 16th century village and offering boutique shops, museums, art galleries and a 5,000-seat Grecian-style amphitheatre inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982.
Jack has recently been celebrating himself – he’s been on the ITV soap for 20 years. He was taking a well-earned holiday after playing in lots of emotional scenes involving brother Nick Tisley, who stole money from their grandmother, Audrey Roberts.
Prices for seven nights all-inclusive at Casa De Campo and including return flights from Manchester on September 20, from £1,468 per person (a saving of £894 per person). To book, visit www.loveholidays.com
