Go see Coronation Street star Charlie Lawson turn his hand to cooking. The actor, who played Jim McDonald in the soap, will be giving cooking demonstrations on his stall – Prestbury Farm Shop which he runs with partner Debbie Stanley in the Cheshire village – over the Bank Holiday May 25-27.
Charlie will be among more than 100 food, drink, arts and craft stalls from the north west and heart of England at the Artisan Market on The Trentham Estate, in Stoke-on-Trent. “It’s more than a street market, and not based around any one particular theme,” said the market’s Vicky Jackson. “It’s designed to appeal to the local community, as well as to visitors from further afield.”
Open 10am to 5pm every day from Saturday May 25 to Monday May 27, the market will complement some of the very best local food and drink and lifestyle products.
