Butlin’s has launched a fantastic £40 million seaside-inspired pool complex, Splash, at its Bognor Regis resort.
The superb attraction has colourful stick-of-rock slides, Seaside Garden rapids, a wave machine and the world’s first Helter Skelter water ride, standing almost as high as two double decker buses.
For thrill-seekers there is an adrenaline flume as well as outdoor rapids, while families can share the raft ride or, let their competitive streak run wild on the racer slides. When the music blasts out, the wave pool comes alive and families can ride the surf.

One of the first people to see the complex was Jacquie Butlin, daughter of the brand’s founder Sir Billy Butlin. She said: “It has been so exciting for me and the Butlin family to see and hear about this amazing new addition to our Bognor Regis resort.
“I know my father would be immensely proud of the new pool and the Butlin’s of 2019, because all his values, dreams and ambitions for the brand are still very much at the heart of everything they do. I’m sure families will love all the wonderful features Splash offers.”

The pool also boasts a vast changing village, with underfloor heating and a range of bespoke changing rooms for smaller and larger families. Open all day and included in the price of a break, the pool can accommodate 1,000 people.
Butlin’s boss Jon Hendry-Pickup said: “Feedback so far has been glowing and justifies the time spent listening to our guests so that we delivered what they want and need. Our aim was to create an experience that takes our Bognor resort to a whole new level and ensures we continue to be at the forefront of British family breaks. We believe we’ve done exactly that.”
