Huge demand for Brazil World Cup flights

Brazil World Cup flights

England’s nailbiting victory over Poland at Wembley last night has seen a huge surge in demand for Brazil World Cup flights.

Immediately after the game, UK flight searches to Brazil for next summer’s World Cup Finals on Skyscanner rocketed by more than 4000 per cent compared to just a handful of searches prior to kick-off.

While the game was on a knife edge at 1-0 to England at half time, confidence was still lacking with a comparatively small increase in searches. However, once Stevie Gerrard had scored the all-important second goal in the dying moments giving England their 2-0 win,  fans took to the Skyscanner site as they searched for flights to Brazil.

England fans have been showing their interest over the last few months with searches to Brazil in June 2014 up 900 per cent compared to the average monthly searches.
