If you love wine and want to learn more about your favourite tipple, then join expert Jilly Goolden on a wine-tasting cruise. The TV wine connoisseur will be aboard Fred Olsen Braemar which sails from Dover on October 4 to sail around Western Europe’s most-renowned wine producing regions.
Jilly, who is renowned for her lavish descriptions of wine, often referring to them as being reminiscent of pear drops, liquorice and even rubber, will be holding wine tastings and giving talks during the 10-night cruise. The ship sails from Dover to Nantes, La Pallice, Bordeaux, Bilbao, Aviles and La Coruna before returning to Dover.
The full-board cruise costs £969 per person, based on two adults sharing an inside cabin.
