Fans of BBC2’s Great British Bake Off should head to Gloucester next weekend.
Mary Berry, will be opening the Gloucester Quays Food Festival and giving a talk on baking – and over the weekend, the Queen of the bakery will be joined by celebrity chefs Gino D’Acampo and James Martin.
The festival takes place at Gloucester Quays Outlet Shopping from Friday to Sunday. Spanning the centre’s waterside area, it will include live cooking, entertainment, food, drink and music.
All three chefs will host a series of hands-on live cookery demonstrations in the Cookery Theatre across the three-day event, as well as hosting a book signing, at 3pm each day.
There will be 80 food and drink stalls selling everything from artisan breads to hand-made chocolates, local cheeses, homemade chutneys, olive oils and award-winning sausages.
