Super swanky London hotel Mandarin Oriental (above) just got better – thanks to the addition of a new swimming pool and fitness centre, set to open in early summer.
The space at the Knightsbridge hotel has been designed by Adam D. Tihany (who designed both Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Bar Boulud at the hotel) and will include a 17-metre indoor stainless steel swimming pool with a deck filled with loungers.
The fitness centre boasts Corian screens used to create privacy and Technogym wellness equipment.
The hotel has teamed up with Sculpt, the exclusive health and fitness consultancy, to offer both members and guests’ a menu of wellness services and there is a team of experts on hand, including personal trainers, nutritionists and a physiotherapist under the guidance of former international swimmer David Jones.
