Kick off the summer by taking your football-mad kids to a soccer school. The family-friendly Sani Resort, on the magnificent Kassandra peninsula at Halkidiki in Greece, has launched a Football Academy.
With children from 5 to 14 split into groups, the two-hour football camp will be held six days a week from May 25 to September 1. The Worldwide Kids Company coaching sessions with dribbling, goal shoots and five-a-side matches take place in the shaded grounds of Sani Resort. Special medals are awarded to children who have performed well.
Sani Resort comprises of four and five-star hotels: Sani Asterias Suites, Porto Sani Village & Spa, Sani Beach Club and Sani Beach Hotel & Spa (above). There are three exclusive Sani spa venues and a marina with restaurants, bars, designer boutiques and art galleries.
Each two-hour session at the Football Academy costs 35€. Children who attend five sessions get the sixth free. Rooms at the Sani Beach Hotel cost from €126 per night.
