Visiting the Indonesian islands of Bali, Lombok, Sumatra and Java just got easier with Garuda Indonesia’s first non-stop flight from London’s Gatwick airport to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
Showcasing its new routes at World Travel Market at London’s ExCel, Garuda officials said the flights will start in May 2014. Garuda had previously postponed the service which was originally scheduled to launch in 2013, blaming runway issues for the postponed launch date.
