Thrilling: The Singapore Grand Prix through the streets of the city at night
If you’ve never been to a Grand Prix, try it. It’s incredibly exciting. And if you are a petrol head, then this is a great deal as you can combine watching the thrilling Singapore Grand Prix with exploring one of the most modern cities in the world.
Shearings Holidays has launched a new seven-day tour to see the night race, which weaves its way through the city’s streets with the cars even racing underneath the grandstand.
The package includes a Bay Grandstand ticket for both the qualifying days and race day. From the Bay Grandstand it is possible to see the cars accelerate out of Turn 17, brushing the barriers on exit, before braking hard to turn left and race beneath. There are also views across Marina Bay to the Marina Bay Sands, one of the most iconic new buildings in the world.
The tour arrives in Singapore the day before qualifying starts, allowing time to also experience the bright lights and culture of the city.
The tour includes return flights from Heathrow on September 18, four nights B&B at the Rendezvous Hotel Singapore, meet and greet at the airport, transfers to the hotel and a three day Bay Grandstand ticket to the Grand Prix, from £1,674, based on two sharing.
