A London hotel has launched a gut-reducing three course meal in time for the January detox season.

The Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes (above) on Baker Street has launched the low-calorie menu at its AA Rosette award-winning restaurant, The Grill with dishes including wild mushroom and truffle soup and mango and raspberry mousse with chocolate sauce. Main-course options include a choice of pan-fried turkey escallops or grilled salmon fillet.

Michelle Wells, General Manager of Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes said: “After the indulgent Christmas period our guests are looking for healthier choices in January, which still allow them to enjoy a meal out and celebrate the start of a new year. With this is mind we’ve created our new low-calorie menu, which features substantial dishes that will appeal to everyone but without compromising on taste.”

The diet-friendly menu is available from January 7 until Valentine’s Day and is priced at £15 for two courses or £18 for three.
