A true seaside resort for many, many years Skanes is a friendly area and not unlike many of our local seaside areas and towns in the UK, year upon year of Tourism changes any landscape somewhat but I would challenge anyone out there to find a nicer more friendly clean hotel with such well cooked food and tremendous service!

In an impressive ‘beach front location and with the local bus stop to Sousse on the same side of the road and the bus stop for Monastir on the opposite side of the road it is handy for the ‘casual shopper’ or the ‘culture vulture’ wishing to venture out on the local trains from Monastir all the way up to Tunis or down to the relatively new tourist area, Mahdia which to date is still a very pretty fishing villiage with an old lighthouse and a cute little harbour!”
