Universal Orlando’s Walking Dead Nights

Fan of TV’s The Walking Dead and think you can do better than Rick and Co? Universal Orlando Resort is offering Walking Dead-themed in Orlando this Halloween.

The Halloween Horror Nights will see the return of the TV show to the popular resort for a third year running and there will be a series of mazes inspired by the show’s season four.

The mazes will place guests on a journey to seek sanctuary at Terminus, the elusive destination from the show that promises community for all. Along the way, visitors will have to face both walkers and ruthless humans.

The Walking Dead is based on the graphic novel written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. The series tells the story of the months and years after a zombie apocalypse.  It follows a group of survivors, led by sheriff Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home.

“This has been an incredible collaboration and I am thrilled to be working once again with the creative teams at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Hollywood to bring the world of The Walking Dead to our dedicated fans,” said Greg Nicotero, Executive Producer and Special Effect Makeup Supervisor for the series.  “I can’t wait for visitors to experience first-hand some of the iconic moments from Season 4 in what will be the biggest, most exciting and frightening Walking Dead maze to date.”

Walking Dead nights are on September 19, 20, 25, 28 and October 2, 5, 9, 12, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30, with prices from £57.

British Airways Holidays has seven nights’ room-only at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort from £809 per person. See BA.com
